Why “holistic” care?

Because you’re more than a symptom or a disease process. You’re a whole person who deserves personalized care from providers who care and help you feel better. 


Will I be seen by a doctor?

Dr. Meg is a doctor of nursing practice and board certified family nurse practitioner. Dr. Patel is a doctor of naturopathic medicine. Both use an integrative and root cause approach to personalize your care.


Can we meet in person?

Yes! Our practice is conveniently hybrid. You can be seen in person at our clinic or virtually.

What will my visit be like?

If your visit is virtual, your provider will video conference with you from the patient portal. We suggest a quiet spot at home or a private location. If your visit is in person, we will see you at the clinic!

Your first visit is a comprehensive intake and care planning process. Your provider gets to know you as best as they can, and together, goals are established and a care plan is made. Client’s will receive their initial care plan within 48 hours of the initial visit.

At the follow up visit, lab work is reviewed and the care plan is evaluated and updated. Health coaching visits are designed to assist you in achieving your goals faster and more efficiently. Your coach will help identify any blocks to your success and help you put your care plan in action. 


Can my provider prescribe medications and supplements?

Dr. Meg is licensed to prescribe medication in CT, MA, NY, FL and CA. Dr. Meg and Dr. Patel can recommend supplements nationwide.


Where do I complete the lab work?

Labs are ordered from various labs. Blood work is commonly ordered through Quest Diagnostics or Vibrant America. Your provider may order test kits through our partner, Rupa Health; their staff can help you connect with a mobile phlebotomist or service center and create a Superbill to file a claim for reimbursement. Many functional lab test kits ordered are completed at home. 


What if I need diagnostics such as an ultrasound?

Dr. Meg can order diagnostics in CT, MA, NY, FL and CA.


How do I fill my supplement prescription?

We partner with Fullscript to fill and ship your supplements to you.

How much does the Holistic Care membership cost? 

The membership is $1,590 for six months of holistic care billed today or six monthly payments of $275.


Can I use my insurance benefits?

Our practice does not participate in any insurance plans. Our providers are out of network with all insurance plans including Medicare.

Members with out-of-network coverage may request a superbill detailing the service received and the ICD-10 and CPT codes needed by your insurance company to process your claim for reimbursement after the membership fee is paid in full.

Members are encouraged to call their insurance’s service phone number to learn more about their specific claims process.


What’s included in the membership?

The Membership covers six months of holistic care, including:

+ 75-minute initial consultation with your doctor
+ A personalized care plan designed just for you
+ Three 45-min follow up sessions with your doctor
+ Two 30 min sessions with your health coach
+ Unlimited messaging with care team
+ 15% off our supplement dispensary, drips, injections and additional visits
+ Access to advanced diagnostic testing such as DUTCH, GI Map, SIBO breath testing, Organic Acids Test and more. 


Can I pay per visit?

All clients are encouraged to join as members to work closely with our care team to obtain the best possible outcome. After initial membership, you may choose to pay per service.

Initial appointments start at $465 and are typically 75 minutes.
Follow up visits start at $310 and are 45 minutes.
Messaging support is $7 per minute.
Chart review and prescription refill requested outside appointment is $35.


Can I cancel my membership?

If at any time our team is not the best fit for your needs, please email hello@holistichealthcode.com to cancel your membership. Please note clients are responsible for the cost of services received upon cancelling.
