Our team is seeking a highly motivated Patient Coordinator to join our team in creating a welcoming and seamless experience for patients. This role involves answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, and providing administrative support to ensure the practice runs efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries or directing calls to the appropriate team members.

  • Greet patients with warmth and professionalism upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcome and cared for.

  • Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting payments and verifying information.

  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing provider calendars efficiently.

  • Coordinate appointment reminders and follow-ups via phone, email, or text.

  • Monitor and respond to patient messages in a timely manner.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and faxing documents.

  • Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

  • Process incoming and outgoing referrals, ensuring accurate and timely follow-through.

  • Order office supplies and assist with inventory management.

  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow.

  • Assist with special projects or tasks to support practice growth and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency with office equipment, EMR systems, and Google Suite.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and confidentiality.

This is an immediate start part-time position.
